MY MAY MAISY

There was a man who had a parrot. His name is Hamid.
“May Maisy”, the parrot replied. “You are my beautiful maisy.”
Hamid taught the parrot new word every day. One day the cage was opened and the parrot flied out. It was flying about the room. Hamid was surprised. “What are you doing?” he said. “What are you doing?” the parrot imitated. Hamid just laughed and left the parrot.
One the evening a thief broke into Hamid’s house. First he went into the sitting- room and found beautiful ornaments. He put them into a sack. Then he went into the bedroom and he found a gold watch and some money. He put these into the sack. He stole many things from the house.

The sack was soon full. The thief put it over shoulder and walked to the door. He opened the door and locked out. There was no one there.
“What are you doing?” a voice said.
The thief jumped high into the air, got stumbled to a chair and ran out of the house and down the road. He dropped his sack.
“What are you doing?” the voice said again. “My Maisy. Hi . Good bye. What are you doing?”
