SINGAPORE

Singapore is a small island country in southeast Asia. The country lies at the southern end of Malay Peninsula that is separated from island of Sumatra in Indonesia by the Strait of Malacca.  
The bustling, crowded city of Singapore, on the southern end of the Island, is the heart of the country. Most of the people live there, and the country’s thriving economy is based on the city’s business. Singapore city is a business and banking center, and one of the world’s busiest ports. Ship from many countries stop there to load and unload Cargo. Many Asia countries and copra, lumber, rubber, spices, and other goods to Singapore to be sorted, graded, and packed. Ships then carry the goods to other countries.

About three out of four Singaporeans are Chinese. The Chinese Singapore are noted as good businessmen. They run most of the import trade and much of the country’s other business. Some Chinese work on farms. About 15 out of 100 persons are Malays. Many Malays, work as fisherman, policeman, plantation laborer, or taxicabs drivers. Most of other people are Indians, Pakistanis, and Europeans. The Europeans work mainly in trade and commerce. Malay is the official language of Singapore. English, Chinese, and Tamil are spoken there.

  1. It is not just crowded it is overcrowded , and infrastructure overloaded and inadequate . There are little or no farms as the land has been used for buildings , and a big majority of Chinese have immigrated recently from mainland China .
    You should update websites or not make them !!!!!!!!!
