THE TRICKY MOUSE DEER

Long, long ago in a thick forest, there lived a mouse deer. One day, mouse deer fell into a very big hole. “Gosh!” he said. “How can I get out?”

Just then, an elephant came by. The elephant walked toward the hole and saw the mouse deer.

“Hurry up!” shouted mouse deer. “The sky falling on us! Quickly came here and jump into the hole!”

In seconds elephant jumped into the hole. Not long after, wild beast came by and saw the hole too.

“Hurry up!” exclaimed mouse deer to the wild beast. “Jump into this hole. The sky is going to falling on us!”

Wild beast jumped into the hole too. He landed on elephant’s back.

Barking deer heard all the noise. He peered into the hole and said, “What are all you doing guys?” he asked.

“Oh!” said mouse deer. “The sky is going to fall on us!” he shouted. “Hurry up! Jump into this hole and you will still alive”.

Barking deer jumped hurriedly into the hole too.

“Now let me climb up and see what happened!” said mouse deer. He climbed onto elephant and wild beast then onto the barking deer. With a skip and a hop, he could out of the hole.

After that, the elephant called out “Are you up there? Can we climb now? What was happening mouse deer?”

But there was not reply! Mouse deer ran away and was out sight.
